The Jason Stapleton Program - 715: What is a Libertarian?

This is another podcast from one of the many podcasts that I like to listen to. This one is from the Jason Stapleton Program, definately worth a listen!

715: What is a Libertarian?

"

I get the question a lot. And it's not just about defining libertarianism. For me, it's just as important to understand what we should be doing as libertarians if we want to have the kind of impact we want on government and society.

Today I'll share a nice 50k foot view of what libertarianism is and how you can advance the principles we all believe in.

Is there such a thing as common sense gun regulation? Probably not but I've found what I think is a pretty common sense way of dealing with people who pose a real and immediate threat to others.

More on that today.

Enjoy the show and don't forget to share!

Breaking the False Gun Control Paradigm

"Breaking the False Gun Control Paradigm02/17/2018 -

KrisAnne and JC dispute the false paradigm offered by pundits and politicians regarding gun control.  If you listen to one show this week.  This must be the show.  If you share just one show this week, this must be the show.  With this truth we can change the way America sees this important issue. 714: Tim Donnelly on Immigration, DACA, and Taxes

One of my goals for this year is to give liberty-minded men and women running for office a platform to share their ideas.

I make no endorsements and or claims; I simply want you to know who's running in the primaries this year, so you know what your options are.

Today I've got Tim Donnelly. He's running for Congress in California's 8th district.

We cover immigration, DACA, and Taxes...all important issues to Californians.

If you want to know more, you can visit his site at http://donnelly4congress.com

The Jason Stapleton Program - 709: A Side of the Refugee Crisis You WON'T hear on the News

This is another podcast from one of the many podcasts that I like to listen to. This one is from the Jason Stapleton Program, definately worth a listen!

709: A Side of the Refugee Crisis You WON'T hear on the News

"

If you're like me, the only thing you really know about the refugee crisis hitting Europe is that it's a problem.

Right-wing news claims they are a bunch of twenty-something men who are flooding across the borders of Europe with the intention to cause terror and exploit the countries generous social welfare programs.

But about six months ago I met some folks with a very different story. It's group of seven filmmakers (all women by the way) who traveled to Greece to document the refugee crisis. The story their cameras tell is very different.

Today I've asked three of the women to come on the show to talk about their experience.

The film is due out for release later this year, and you can watch the trailer here: https://www.gofundme.com/Refugeeisnotmyname

Enjoy your weekend!

The Jason Stapleton Program - 708: Bombshell Testimony Puts Clinton Foundation in Bribery Crosshairs

This is another podcast from one of the many podcasts that I like to listen to. This one is from the Jason Stapleton Program, definately worth a listen!

708: Bombshell Testimony Puts Clinton Foundation in Bribery Crosshairs

"

That is not a salacious headline with nothing to back it up. In fact, there is new testimony from a former CIA and FBI asset that claims millions were funneled to the Clinton Foundation by the Russians to facilitate the purchase of the nuclear company Uranium One.

It's an incredible story that shouldn't surprise you in the least especially if you've been following the many scandals to come out of the Clinton Foundation over the years.

Also, should the government force Tide to change the way it's detergent pods look? The answer is NO, but we'll discuss the ridiculous bill they've just submitted in New York.

Enjoy!

This is another podcast from one of the many podcasts that I like to listen to. This one is from the Jason Stapleton Program, definately worth a listen!

706: The One Thing I Don't Want to be Right About

"

As you know, I never miss a chance to tell you how right I am. I'm quite fond of the phrase "don't doubt me." But this is the one thing I wish I were wrong about.

The stock market took a big tumble yesterday, and Although it's rebounded nicely off yesterdays close, there is still a massive amount of risk in the markets today.

A lot of people including banks and bond traders will tell you they're happy to see the volatility back in the market and if you're one of those people then more power to you.

But if you're one of the millions of Americans who are staring down the barrel of another 10, 20, even 50% decline in equity prices along with rising interest rates, the world does not look so rosy.

Today we'll discuss a little about where I think the market is going and what I think you might do to protect yourself.

***
North Korea is apparently months away from having a missile that can hit the US mainland. Is that true? Who knows but it's important we pay attention to the players and the moves they're making. I'm far less concerned about a nuclear attack by North Korea and far more concerned about an international incident that will plunge us into yet another costly and potentially unwinnable war.

***
Are we hypocrites when it comes to riots? We might be. After the Superbowl many Egle's fans set to the streets, turning over cars and generally being bad folks.

Yet the media (and much of America) shrugged it off as harmless fun rather than the serious crime it was. You contrast that with how those same outlets covered the riots in Baltimore or the protests in Charlottesville and you see how we may have a problem.

I just found the subject interesting, and if we have time, we'll discuss today.

Enjoy the show and don't forget to tell a friend!

The Jason Stapleton Program - 705: Private Policing, Jay Powell, and Congressional Gridlock

This is another podcast from one of the many podcasts that I like to listen to. This one is from the Jason Stapleton Program, definately worth a listen!

705: Private Policing, Jay Powell, and Congressional Gridlock

"

Oh yeah, plenty to talk about today. Jay Powell was just sworn in as the new FED chair and boy did he have some nice things to say about the federal reserve. Apparently, the economy is healthy, and it's all because of the FED's tireless work.

***
We've talked about private policing before, but they're trying a version of it in the UK with great success. It turns out the private sector can do things better than the government can even when it comes to solving murders.

***
Finally, it looks like we're headed for another showdown over the budget. The US Treasury says we have enough money to pay our bills through the 28th of February. After that, we hit the debt ceiling and will have to start making cuts to keep things running.

This is why everyone hates politicians. They spend their days focused on things they've got no business dealing with and fail to do any of the work they're constitutionally mandated to do. SHAMEFUL!!

This is another podcast from one of the many podcasts that I like to listen to. This one is from the Jason Stapleton Program, definately worth a listen!

704: FBI Memo Drops - Is it the Bombshell Everyone Expected?

"

Well, it depends on who you ask.

I'm going to walk through the highlights of the memo with you but what I found most interesting is the way the media framed the release of the memo before they knew what was in it.

I've got clips from both Sean Hannity and Joe Scarborough talking about what's in a memo they haven't yet seen. Both making wild predictions about what it says and what implications it will have politically for both parties.

The days of pandering are over. People are losing trust in the media and those in talk radio because none of them are giving you the truth. I will.

Enjoy your weekend,

The Jason Stapleton Program - 702: State of the Union Recap and the Cost of Growth Today

This is another podcast from one of the many podcasts that I like to listen to. This one is from the Jason Stapleton Program, definately worth a listen!

702: State of the Union Recap and the Cost of Growth Today

"

If you missed Trumps SOTU address last night, fear not. You missed nothing. In addition to being one of the longest states of the unions in history, the president said surprisingly little.

I would imagine most Americans lost interest after the first hour of Trump explaining all the great things he's done for the nation, but I'll throw out a couple of highlights today so that you don't feel left out.

I think these types of events are pointless. I wouldn't have watched it myself except for the fact that I know most of YOU didn't watch it and somebody needs to be keeping up with this stuff. :-)

The SOTU address is a sales pitch. It always is. This one was no different.

***
We've been talking about what's driving the growth in America these last few years, and as you know, it's largely built on a central bank debt-fueled heroin addiction.

Further evidence of this came from the Treasury Department who plans to issue close to a trillion dollars of new debt this year. Not surprising given the fact that Trumps tax cut came with an additional 1.4 trillion in new unfunded expenses. You can't get something for nothing.

***
Finally, I want to hit on something we discussed a bit yesterday, and it's an update on the Venezuela crisis. It turns out the military is starting to turn on Maduro. The Socialist utopia is coming to an end.

Enjoy!
